The River Farm
The River Farm is a unique environmental initiative where we grow fresh, seasonal organic vegetables in harmony with nature.
It is a place where people can reconnect with the earth, understand where their food comes from and appreciate the simple joys of nature. Children learn the value of food, the effort behind every harvest and the importance of gratitude for every meal on their plate.
School Visits
The River Farm welcomes school children for fun and meaningful learning experiences. Through guided farm walks and hands-on activities, they explore nature, understand the journey of food from soil to plate and develop gratitude for every meal while learning to care for the environment.
Environment Conservation Talks
Renowned naturalist Jagat Kinkhabwala, “The Sparrow Man,” shares his knowledge and passion for birds, biodiversity and nature through an interactive session. The session encourages children and adults to observe nature more closely, appreciate its beauty and understand the importance of protecting our environment.
Inspiring Zero-Waste Recipes
We encourage creative ways to use every edible part of fruits and vegetables. From peels and stems to leftovers, simple recipes show how food can be used thoughtfully instead of being wasted. These small changes help reduce our carbon footprint, minimise waste and inspire a more sustainable way of living.
Our philosophy is simple: Gratitude to Mother Earth.
We believe that a healthy life begins with healthy choices. By growing organic vegetables, making compost at home, reducing waste and adopting sustainable practices, we can all contribute to a healthier environment while reducing our carbon footprint.
Nature gives us so much, and we believe in giving back. Along with The River Farm, we regularly plant native tree saplings and continue to grow our Miyawaki forest. More importantly, we nurture every sapling, helping it take root and thrive for future generations.
